In general Moderators will edit, delete or close post and threads that violate these rules. Punishment depends on severity.
1) No threads or posts pertaining to Buying/Selling/Trading Equipment
No threads or posts will be permitted that contain any offers or requests to buy, sell, or trade equipment (so called “b/s/t” threads). This includes links to any third-party site (Ebay, for example) where equipment is being sold, unless the link is answering a question.
2) Insulting other members will not be tolerated
Dont flame or Troll. There is a time and a place for everything and the mods will deem what is appropriate and what goes too far.
3) No advertising in the Tinker forum
Again, time and place for everything, this isnt it.
4) Do not post adult content.
Come on, theres kids on here. You get one (1) warning and then the ban hammer comes out.
5) Do not avoid the swear filter
We have a swear filter for a reason. Cheating the swear filter will result in a warning and then a ban.
6) Thread titles need to actually reflect the thread with a description
Give use soemdescription.Instead of titling your thread “I have a question”, be specific: “New gun desing, will this work
7) Dont post useless junk.
Dont just post "yeah" or "that sucks" you're not contributing. Also dont write subscribed, you can subscribe without posting.
8) READ THE STICKIES!!!!!
Just do it before you post. If a thread is answered in the stickies a mod will post the link and close the tread.
9) Dont be a necromancer.
If you bring a thread back from the dead, it just makes everyone mad. If you find a thread that has been brought back from the dead, report it and dont post in it. A thread is dead if it is over a month old.
10) Let the Moderators correct other Users. It is your job to report the violating posts to the staff.
Its our job let us do it. We get paid to do it. Wait we get paid
11) Our decisions are final.
If you have a problem with a decision then personally speak with a mod or admin. If you do not do so in a civil manor your request will be ignored.
12) If you want to know the Value of the gun use this thing called google. Unless it is a gun that you have created and have the right to sell, then you can gauge interest in this forum.
13) Dont up your own thread, if your question isnt answered its either cause its in the stickies or no one got around to it. give it some time, remember patience is a virtue.
14) “Look at my ups!”
This is not a forum for bolt on mods, so If you think your spyder is sick because you put everything that actionvillage sells on it, it belongs in its guns specific forum. If you half backed that spyder then you can post it here.
15) Use the Picture thread.
Put pictures of your gun in the picture thread unless it is in some way unique or important.
