In my experiences the Dm7 has proven to be more stable. All experiences I've had with shockers weren't necessarily bad, but they do need to be babied. Dm7 is also more efficient. Maintenence is similar.

lol efficiency is crappy.
no how about the dm7 and a spring bolt v.2 modded h.e. bolt for the shocker. i heard that a spring bolt v.2 h.e. bolt with the ndz adjustable (can't think of the name) gets around 1800. in my experience the dm7 gets about 1600 off of a 68/45. the settings could have been messed up but there is no question that the dm7 is more comfortable or a easier way of maintaining.

I actually don't know that one. I've never used, or been able to test a shocker that has the v2 spring mod. It wouldn't be totally outlandish to say that it's efficiency might be better though. I would assume that the marker would have more kick, with the mod though.

how about the dm7 to the invert mini PBf Feedback:

oh it doesn't. the dwell goes down to about 7-8 ms and runs at about 160 psi typically. you don't even enlarge the firing chamber or anything so it really does up the efficiency. although i dislike most shocker frames.
towards the mini:
the mini is a great gun for the price; yet, the efficiency isn't near the dm7 if you tune both correctly.
the trigger on the mini, while being comfortable is somewhat bulky nor has the precision of the bearing placement like on the dm series of markers

hmmm... thats hard. the protege is the bells and whistles vice correct PBf Feedback: if so then it truly is a mystery. they have slightly more kick and better efficiency (protege) than the dm8. but, the dm8 has a much more comfortable frame and has less kick. also you can put some of the new dm9 stuff (trigger, eye thing) onto the dm8. i would have to go with the spool valve design. i like marq6,7, rappers more but the spool valve design is still pretty awesome.

Actually the Vice is the bells and whistles Protege. The protege is the cheap one. The dm8 is more comfortable, and softer on paint. The protege is more efficienct, but in turn harder on paint. Both are easy to maintain.

ahh. still though, the price diference would make me buy the protege though. a dm8 still gets around 750+ typically and efficiency is key with me. they have the pillow bolt which really helps the vice/protege's on paint.

I shot over a case last weekend in a tournament without a break and I dont have the pillow bolt. but it still gets around a case off a 68/45 which is awesome.

DM8 has a better trigger and shoots smoother and with much less kick, ego get better air efficiency.
