In general Moderators will edit, delete or close post and threads that violate these rules. Punishment depends on severity.
1) No threads or posts pertaining to Buying/Selling/Trading Equipment
No threads or posts will be permitted that contain any offers or requests to buy, sell, or trade equipment (so called “b/s/t” threads). This includes links to any third-party site (Ebay, for example) where equipment is being sold, unless the link is answering a question.
2) Insulting other members will not be tolerated
Dont flame or Troll. There is a time and a place for everything and the mods will deem what is appropriate and what goes too far.
3) Versus threads are not allowed
This is the Pump forum, the response will be either cocker or phantom. Look in the stickies for a comparison.
4) No advertising in the Pump forum
Again, time and place for everything, this isnt it.
5) Do not post adult content.
Come on, theres kids on here. You get one (1) warning and then the ban hammer comes out.
6) Do not avoid the swear filter
We have a swear filter for a reason. Cheating the swear filter will result in a warning and then a ban.
7) Thread titles need to actually reflect the thread with a description
Give use soemdescription.Instead of titling your thread “got a question about my pump”, be specific: “Question about leaking down barrel”, “Need help deciding what hopper to buy”, etc. Since the other users are here to help you, try to make it easier on them.
8) Dont post useless junk.
Dont just post "yeah" or "that sucks" you're not contributing. Also dont write subscribed, you can subscribe without posting.
9) READ THE STICKIES!!!!!
Just do it before you post. If a thread is answered in the stickies a mod will post the link and close the tread.
10) Dont be a necromancer.
If you bring a thread back from the dead, it just makes everyone mad. If you find a thread that has been brought back from the dead, report it and dont post in it. A thread is dead if it is over a month old.
11) Let the Moderators correct other Users. It is your job to report the violating posts to the staff.
Its our job let us do it. We get paid to do it. Wait we get paid
12) Our (mostly mine) decisions are final.
If you have a problem with a decision then personally speak with a mod or admin. If you do not do so in a civil manor your request will be ignored.
13) If you want to know the Value of the gun use this thing called google.
14) Dont up your own thread, if your question isnt answered its either cause its in the stickies or no one got around to it. give it some time, remember patience is a virtue.
15) “What upgrades should I buy
Until the Mega FAQ is fully populated these threads will be allowed, and afterwards at the mods discretion.
16) Use the Picture thread.
Put pictures of your gun in the picture thread unless it is in some way unique or important.
